Washi Tape Bow

Hi Everyone! I LOVE making washi tape bows! My favorite tape to use is Bella Blvd. The thickness, texture and stickiness just work the best for me. Today I used Gulf Dot found HERE.

I also made a simple wood frame by masking off the middle of the card with then stamping Woodgrain Backdrops. The layered chipboard shapes are from the new Dear Lizzy Polka Dot party collection and the sentiment is from  Lawn Fawn's Winter Gifts.

PS. If you'd like to see how I  made this bow check out the tutorial on the tabs at the top of my blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
